This app contains flashcards suitable for Edexcel GCSE Combined Science. At the moment, it just contains core knowledge suitable to achieve up to about a grade 6-6. Over time I will add more.
Instructions:
Card controls:
Click on a card to flip it and view the reverse side.
Click Next and Previous to navigate through the cards.
Rate each card:
Click on the 1. Strong, 2. Good, 3. OK and 4. Weak buttons to rate your confidence in each card; you will be shown your weaker cards more often.
Make sure you update your ratings as your confidence changes.
Provided you use the same device each time, your ratings should be stored for next time.
Settings:
Select the cards to test:
Subject area – select one or more subject areas, then choose Confirm. Selecting All toggles every subject area.
Topic – select one or more topics, then choose Confirm. Selecting All toggles every available topic.
Tier – select Foundation to remove any Higher tier cards.
Toggle the Flashcard selection buttons to choose particular groups of card to be tested on. In Auto mode, you will be shown cards a lower proportion of the time the stronger they are.
Toggle Show session timer On/Off to show or hide a timer. It automatically pauses if you are inactive for 45 s or if the browser tab is not visible.
